🇵🇭🇦🇪FVAD × UAEVBA | REFEREE WORKSHOP 2026 🏐

A meaningful step for our volleyball community!

The Filipino Volleyball Athlete Development (FVAD), in collaboration with the UAE Volleyball Association (UAEVBA), successfully conducted a specialized Volleyball Referee Workshop from August 21–23, 2026, further supporting the development of Filipino volleyball officials in the UAE.

A key highlight of the three-day workshop was learning directly from FIVB International Referee Mr. Ismail Alblooshi (UAE), who served as Referee Instructor and shared valuable insights from his international officiating experience.

The workshop covered advanced referee mechanics and hand signals, match protocols, technical aspects of the game, decision-making, practical officiating, and updates to the Rules of the Game for the 2026–2027 season to reinforce the importance of consistency, confidence, integrity, and professionalism in officiating.

Under the leadership of Mr. Mark Gil Mamac, FVAD extends its sincere appreciation to the UAEVBA, under the leadership of H.E. Abdullah Jumah Al-Darmaki, for the trust, support, and opportunity to collaborate in developing our volleyball community. Our gratitude also goes to Mr. Ismail Alblooshi for generously sharing his expertise and experience with our participants.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the workshop! May this experience inspire you to continue learning, improving, and serving the game with passion and integrity.
