*always get the approval from your doctor before starting a workout program when pregnant. Remember intensity of the workout depends on your fitness level and whether you exercised before, so modify number of sets, reps and weight used that feel good to you and take the rest you need in between.

πŸ’™ Did you know that Diastasis Recti could happen to anyone and not just pregnant women?! It could affect men, women who are not and were never pregnant and even babies. Some people with perfectly shaped and shredded sick pack abs have an abs separation! Having a strong functional core is not the same as having sick abs!
πŸ’™ Protecting your core and strengthening the correct muscles is so important in pregnancy and every expecting mom should know about this!
πŸ’™ Hope this post gives you some info and an overview of what we mean by deep core muscles, those muscles which are so important especially during pregnancy because you have a growing uterus and baby pushing and stretching your stomach outwards.
πŸ’™ Training and working out in the prenatal and postnatal period should be based on correct core engagement and strengthening of those muscles.
πŸ’™Last couple of slides shows what doming looks like. This is not dangerous for your baby, the point is to explain to you that you need to take care of your core and be kind to it by moving well and being aware of what to avoid and what to look for as signs that you need better core engagement or should avoid certain exercises.
πŸ’™ How amazing is the female body and how strong are you mamas?!? Adapting and stretching and changing and preparing over a period of 9 months to finally bring a baby into this world! ❀️
So much love & positive vibes to all of you! Xoxo πŸ’‹

Here are some quick Do’s & Don’ts to keep in mind πŸ™‚
