📢 Important Al Qudra Cycle Track Notice – Top of the Stick | Sunday 26 January ❗

Please note that on the morning of Sunday 26 January the cycling track will be open to riders cycling in a CLOCKWISE DIRECTION ONLY due to Build-Up Ride 4.

• The track will be closed between 5:30am-7:15am for Build-Up Ride 4 of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge event on Sunday 26 January.
• Non-event riders using the track must please ride in a clockwise direction when using the track from 7:15am until 10.30am.
• Our priority is to keep all riders safe and secure during the ride, so please adhere to the 1 directional instruction to avoid any incidents.
• The track will reopen for regular use at around 10.30am, following clearance of Build-Up Ride 4.

It’s Back! The Positive Spirit Crit Challenge. After the success of our last race, we’re excited to announce the next Criterium Race on Saturday, 9th November 2024, at the Dubai Police Officers Club! This high-energy event is open to experienced and advanced riders.

Prize Money - Male & Female Categories:
- 1st Place: AED15,000
- 2nd Place: AED10,000
- 3rd Place: AED8,000

Event Details:
- Course Recce Ride: 6:00 am – 6:15 am
- First Group Start: 6:30 am sharp
- Bring plenty of water for hydration—the heat will build as the morning goes on

Race Format:
Each group race lasts around 10 minutes (5 laps x 900m) in a Criterium Eliminator format.
Men’s & Women’s Races: Top riders advance through the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals for a shot at the podium!

Why Criteriums?
Criteriums are all about sharp skills and smart strategy: fast cornering, intense sprints, and energy conservation to go the distance. Riders must attack from the corners and stay sharp to reach the finals!

Introducing Dubai Ride Speed Laps. An exhilarating new addition to Dubai Ride 2024, offering cyclists the chance to experience an hour of high-speed. Taking place from 5am to 6am on 10th November, this exclusive session is designed for seasoned riders who can maintain a speed of 30km/h and have experience riding in a peloton.

Al Qudra Cycle Track Notice for Build-Up Ride 2 of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge | 27 October 2024

Please note the following for Sunday 27 October:

• The Al Qudra track at the top of the stick (Last Exit) will be closed between 5:30am-7am* for Build-Up Ride 2 of the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge event on Sunday 27 October.

• Non-event riders using the track must please ride in a clockwise direction if using the track prior to 5.30am or from 7am until 10.30am.

• Our priority is to keep all riders safe and secure during the ride, so please adhere to the 1 directional instruction to avoid any incidents during the specified times.

• The track will reopen for regular use at around 10.30am, following clearance of Build-Up Ride 2.

• The Al Qudra track remains open from BOTS to ZAD's and back down.
