Huge congratulations to Lené, defenseman for the Abu Dhabi Ice Hockey Team, competing under Team Al Dhabi — part of the Abu Dhabi Winter Games Club — who just took on Asia’s largest tournament, the Mega Ice Hockey 5s, in Hong Kong… and brought home the WIN 🏆

After stepping back from the sport for a while, life got busy (and finding the Abu Dhabi Jets along the way 😄), she returned to the ice in Jan 2026 and went straight into full action mode.

This is the same Lené who’s also out there kiteboarding, training for triathlons, and climbing in between everything else. Absolute engine.

From a break… to a championship trophy in the biggest 5s tournament in Asia.

Well done Lené — seriously incredible effort, determination, and grit. We are all so proud of you.
